Waited 45 minutes for my order only to be told that they "ran out of chicken". Meanwhile the entire time I was waiting strange men who weren't employees kept going back into the food preparation area and serving themselves beer. When I finally got refunded for my non-existent chicken the cook walked out with, you guessed it, two giant trays of fried chicken! It went straight to the strange men who were serving themselves (who got there AFTER my order was placed). So much for being "out" Absolutely pathetic and I won't be going there again.

I recently went back to K-Pop Chicken with my cousins after about a year, hoping maybe the service experience would be different this time, but unfortunately it felt exactly the same. The food is honestly really good. The chicken is crispy and well made, and one of our favorite dishes is the rice cakes, which we usually order two of because we enjoy sharing them. This time again, the staff member β€” who I believe may be the only one working there most of the time β€” kept insisting that one plate was enough for us. I understand suggestions, but if we want two plates, we should be able to order two without feeling questioned about it. The place was also almost empty when we arrived around 8pm, and they close at 1am, so it felt uncomfortable being rushed the entire time. As soon as we sat down, we were pushed to order quickly, and throughout the meal there was constant staring. The moment it looked like we were almost done eating, the bill was brought out even though we were considering ordering more drinks and staying a bit longer. I don’t know if it’s just us experiencing this, but it genuinely makes the atmosphere uncomfortable. I don’t want to assume anything, especially since th

The chicken here is legit. Thin batter with a good kick. The pork belly dish was good also. I can say this is a hole in the wall chicken spot for all that is on a hunt.

Whenever my family is in the area, we always try to eat at Kpop Rice Flour Chicken. I’ve gone maybe 3-4 times and I keep coming back for the chicken’s crispiness and delicious sauce. Though I noticed the last time I went, the chicken wasn’t as crispy as before. I’m hoping it was just a one-time fluke. Parking/Service/Ambiance: Lots of parking in the lot even on a Friday night. I appreciated that there’s a call button on each table to prevent having to wave down a server. Food came out fairly quickly. Lots of indoor (only) tables and seats. There were several TVs that streamed sports games. It was nice to watch the Dodgers game while we were eating. There are 2 bathrooms and it was pretty clean. Food: -#9 Spicy Rice Cake with Ramen: great to share as appetizer. For me this wasn’t too spicy and I love the flavor. -Corn Cheese: could comfortably share with 2-3 people -Ssal Hot and Spicy Chicken: half order came with 6 pieces. For someone who likes super spicy food, this wasn’t very spicy to me. I love the sauciness and the flavor though as mentioned, I wish it was a tad bit crispier. -Ssal Honey Garlic Chicken: full order came with about 12. Overall: I’m hoping that the lack of cri

Almost three years ago, I tried Kpop Rice Flour Chicken for the first time via a delivery service. The name almost made me hesitate, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. They use rice flour to batter their chicken, making it a fantastic option for those who are gluten-free. However, be cautious as some sauces still contain gluten. Gluten-Free Options: Traditional Chicken Honey Garlic Chicken Chicken Gizzard Bossam Restaurant Atmosphere: The restaurant has the typical vibe of an older Korean establishment, featuring mostly booth seating, Kpop singers on soju advertisements, and Kpop music playing in the background. Food Ratings: Traditional Chicken: 8.7/10 The chicken is excellent, especially since I typically can’t have fried chicken. The honey garlic sauce is okay, but the traditional version is the best. Honey Garlic Chicken: 7.2/10 I ordered the sauce on the side because the garlic flavor can be overpowering. It’s good, but not my favorite. Bossam: 6.4/10 This isn’t the place to come for bossam. It’s fine as a side dish but lacks some staple pairings, particularly kimchi. Fried Gizzard: 9.1/10 The fried gizzard is outstanding. The rice flour gives it a crispy texture, and the comb
